Who is Diana Kayla Hochberg?

 Born in Montreal, Canada, and raised in New York, Diana Kayla Hochberg is a writer, photographer, genealogist, and educator. She holds a bachelor's degree in education and an associate of arts degree in art history. With a lifelong passion for storytelling and discovery, she has dedicated her career to helping others explore their identities and personal histories.

Genealogy & Photography

Since 2017, Diana has been an active member of the British Columbia Genealogical Society and the National Genealogical Society. She enjoys helping both adoptees and non-adoptees uncover and reconnect with their family histories. As a photographer, she captures meaningful moments that reflect the beauty and complexity of life.

Professional & Volunteer Work

With over 25 years of retail management experience and two decades as an educator, Diana is known for fostering connections and inspiring others. She has also been a dedicated volunteer for more than 40 years, supporting organizations such as the National Scoliosis Foundation, JDRF Hope Gala, American Cancer Society, Make-A-Wish Foundation, and Elevation Connections, a foster care initiative. She currently serves as an honorary ambassador for the Setting Scoliosis Straight Foundation and has previously held the role of treasurer on the Board of Directors for Seville Condominiums.

Personal Life & Mission

Diana is the mother of her son, David, daughter-in-law, Erica, granddaughter, Harper, and stepdaughter, Claire. She currently resides in Pawleys Island, South Carolina, with her brother, Jesse, and her Siberian cat, Gatsby.

Her debut book, Connected: Finding My Truth, launching in February 2025 , reflects her journey of resilience and self-discovery. It offers insight and encouragement to those searching for meaning in connection and identity.
