When the truth finally finds its voice, healing begins.
CONNECTED: Finding My Truth is a story of resilience, identity, and hope.
One Conversation. One Secret. A Truth That Changed Everything.
For nearly forty years, I believed I knew who I was.
Then, a single sentence changed everything.
A casual remark from a trusted family friend, who had once worked in intelligence, revealed a truth I never saw coming. I was led to believe I had been adopted.
Through research, records, and years of searching, I discovered something far more complex. I grew up believing my parents were my biological parents, only to learn there had been no legal adoption at all.
That moment sparked a relentless search across decades and continents.
Along the way, I uncovered a black-market baby-broker network, hidden identities, and disturbing connections that reshaped everything I thought I understood about family and belonging.
What began as an ordinary trip became a life-changing journey to uncover the truth about my past and, ultimately, my identity.

REVIEWS
Connected: Finding My Truth is not nonfiction dressed up as drama. It is a true account that cuts straight into Canadian black-market adoptions and their ties to the Denver mafia.
Diana spends decades pulling apart a web built on secrecy. What begins as an offhand remark sparks a personal search that grows into something far wider, revealing names, systems, and decisions that were never meant to surface. She follows each lead with discipline, and the picture that forms is unsettling in its clarity.
The story reads like a true crime investigation: methodical, patient, relentless. There is a Cold War undercurrent, with quiet deals, buried records, and a sense that powerful people preferred silence over exposure.
What carries the book is resolve. Diana does not look away when the trail turns difficult. She keeps going.
Do not wait for a dramatized version to soften the edges. The impact lies in the facts as they are presented.
Some stories are written to entertain. This one is written because it had to be told. - Mac Stepp Jr - Denver, Colorado - Reviewed- April 18, 2026 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Secrets Do Not Stay Buried
What an Incredible journey of finding her truth!! I read this captivating story in 4 days!! I couldn’t put the book down. Engrossed to find out all the answers to what, when, where, how, why and most importantly WHO??? I love how she has included a good amount of photo images to match up with some of these interesting characters. She made me laugh out loud, nervous, scared, and sad! I did not purchase the book through here rather, I purchased it directly from the author herself along with a personal signature addressed to me. I am so proud of her accomplishment. As a resident of Sarasota and in recent months had the opportunity to get know her personally. I must say, Diana is a lovely person. I truly I recommend this book to share with your book clubs and to be a fly on the wall during those discussions! Ha! Let’s support our wonderful authors like Diana! I truly wish her the absolute best! - Ligaya Lee Etlinger-Brooks - Sarasota, Florida - Reviewed - April 1, 2026 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
